Who we are
ExpressionRise is a digital agency based in Bristol, UK. We provide web design, SEO, content creation and AI services to businesses across the UK. For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the data controller for the personal data you share with us.
What data we collect
We collect data you give us directly: your name, email address, business name and any information you include in a contact form message. If you accept analytics cookies, we also collect anonymised usage data (pages visited, time on site, approximate location) through Google Analytics. We do not collect payment card details.
Why we collect it
Contact form data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to deliver the services you have engaged us for. Analytics data helps us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing without your explicit consent.
Legal basis
We process contact form data on the basis of legitimate interest. You have contacted us and we need to respond. Where you have opted in to analytics cookies, we process that data on the basis of consent. You can withdraw consent at any time through your browser or cookie settings.
Who we share data with
Your enquiry data is stored in Formspree (our form processor) and in our email. We use Google Analytics for anonymised usage statistics. We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
Contact enquiry data is kept for up to 2 years from the date of last contact, after which it is deleted. Analytics data is subject to Google's own retention policies (typically 26 months). You can request deletion of your data at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies: one for your consent preference and, if you accept, Google Analytics cookies. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

To exercise any of your data rights, request deletion, or ask a question about how we handle your information, get in touch and we will respond within 30 days.
